Naomie “Ngozi” Grandison unveils Édé Nou Music Video

“Soulful with a powerful message!” Perhaps the best way to describe the latest video by St Lucia’s Neo-soul singer-songwriter Naomie “Ngozi” Grandison for her music track Édé Nou.
Officially unveiled at an intimate artsy gathering at Orlando’s Restaurant in Soufriere on Saturday February 28th, 2015, the music video which was produced by Ted Sandiford of Acid Kreationz, brings to the fore social issues plaguing Caribbean society. Shot on location in St Lucia’s historic scenic town, Soufriere—the songstress’ hometown—Édé Nou music video vividly paints stories of strife experienced by two young individuals.

Édé Nou is a socially conscious reggae in which Naomie’s unique expressive voice is complimented by live instruments including a smooth exquisite sax rendition by Rob Zii Taylor. The audio was produced by Danyl Daniel of Daniel’s Den.

Édé Nou audio visual production was funded by the Soufriere Regional Development Foundation, and collaborative sponsors Orlando’s Restaurant and Fish Lovers. The video showcases local actors Uriahus Andrew, Kurhil Lamontagne, St. Byranson Soulage (of KomicKingz); Sancha Charlemagne (of Soufriere Comprehensive Secondary School), Stevaco Joseph, Giovanni Moses (of Soufriere Action Theatre) Aagee Simpson, Kanye  “Pepe” Desir and Kazia Aurelien.
